Once you have the full version in Applications, find the Sims 4 Packs folder and drag it to Applications as well. If you're only creating an alias by dragging and dropping, you can try copying and pasting, which show up in a right-click menu. You can do this by checking its size under Get Info: the full version will be 21 GB, whereas an alias would be a few KB. If it copies rather than moving, delete the original, but first make sure that the new copy is a full version. First, drag the Sims 4.app from your desktop into the main Applications folder, the one you see in the left panel of a Finder window. Okay, it might be best to uninstall and reinstall the game, but if that would take longer than you want to wait, we can try just moving the files instead.
